User Data Deletion Instructions

According to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, every application utilizing the Meta Graph API or Facebook/Instagram Login must provide clear, accessible, and automated instructions explaining how users can request the deletion of their data or remove the application from their Facebook / Instagram accounts.

1 Method A: Self-Service Deletion via Nityam AI App

You can instantly delete all account tokens, scheduled reels, uploaded product catalogs, and service information directly from inside the application:

1. Open the Nityam AI mobile or web application.
2. Navigate to the Instagram Integration Hub tab (or tap your profile in the top-right).
3. Tap "Disconnect Account" to immediately invalidate and wipe your active Meta Graph API tokens.
4. Scroll down to "Data & Privacy" and tap "Delete All Account Data".
5. Confirm your decision. All encrypted tokens, catalog media, generated video drafts, and scheduled calendar slots are permanently deleted from our database within seconds.

2 Method B: Revoke Access via Facebook & Instagram Settings

If you prefer to remove Nityam AI directly through your Meta / Instagram account settings:

1. Log into your Facebook Account associated with your Instagram Business Page.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Scroll down to the Permissions section and click on Apps and Websites.
4. Find Nityam AI - Grow your business in the list of active apps.
5. Click the Remove button.
6. Check the box that asks: "Delete all posts, videos or events that Nityam AI posted on your timeline" if you wish to remove previous posts, then confirm by clicking Remove.

3 Automated Meta Data Deletion Callback (For Meta Reviewers)

Nityam AI has implemented the official Meta User Data Deletion Callback URL according to Meta's technical specification:

• Callback Endpoint URL: https://api.nityammai.com/v1/auth/meta/data-deletion-callback
• Protocol: HTTP POST containing the signed_request parameter from Meta.
• Execution:
  1. Our server decodes and validates the base64-encoded HMAC-SHA256 signature using our Meta App Secret.
  2. We extract the user_id and trigger an immediate hard delete on:
     • Stored OAuth Page and User Access Tokens (AES-256 vault)
     • Pending scheduled Reels and Carousel drafts in the Content Calendar
     • Cached Instagram Business account insights and analytics
  3. Our server responds to Meta within 3 seconds with a JSON payload containing the tracking URL and unique confirmation code:
